Thomas Lank

 

In the name of God Amen.  I Thomas Lank of Broadkiln hundred Sussex County and State of Delaware being in usual health and of sound and disposing mind memory and Judgment do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following Viz.

 

1^st  I give and Bequeath to my beloved Lovisa all of my Real and Personal Estate during her natural life.

 

2^nd  I give and Bequeath to my son John all of my Real Estate from and after the Death of my Wife afs to him his Heirs and assigns for Ever by his Paying my son Nathaniel one hundred Dollars in one year from and after the death of my said Wife. But if my son John Refuses to Pay my son Nathaniel the one hundred Dollars as afs then in that case I Leave my Land afs to be Equally Divided between my Two sons Nathaniel and John, Them, Their Heirs and Assigns for Ever.

 

3^rd  I give and Bequeath to my four Daughters from and after the Death of my said Wife all of my Personal Estate to be Equally Divided amongst them, Viz: Elizabeth, Sophia, Nancy and Arcadia.

 

4^th  I do hereby nominate and appoint my two sons Nathaniel and John my whole and sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoking and making Void all other wills heretofore made by me in Testamony [sic] whereof I hereby set my hand and seal this Six day of April A.D. Eighteen hundred and thirty seven.
