Spurr Family

Information on the Spurr family was compiled over 25 years by Vernon Morse Spurr in his three-volume set, "The Descendants of Michael and Jane (Shippee) Spurr of Round Hill, Annapolis Co., N.S." and published in 1989 by Lancelot Press Ltd of Hantsport, N.S. Michael Spurr was chosen as the starting point for his report, because he is the originator of the Spurr line in Nova Scotia. He and his brothers and sisters were members of the fourth generation of the Spurr Family in the Dorchester and Stoughton areas of Massachusetts.
