Charles R. Burton was a student in the Government Training School at Columbia Univ. during WW1, after which he spent five years as a traveling sales rep. for Winchester Simmons Co., with DE as his territory. Member of Blue Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, Kiwanis Club. Operated the plumbing dept. of Burton Bros Hardware Store, and held the agency for Atwater Kent radios, Kelvinator refrigerators and many other national brands. See Wm. F. Burton for other details.
