1840 Census for Mispillion Hd., Kent Co., DE: Enoch Hollis, age 30-40; spouse, age 20-30; son, age under 5. Enoch does not appear in the 1850 Census. In the same Hd appears John Hollis, age 30-40, with a larger family, 1 male (M) 5-10, 1M 10-15, 1M 20-30; 2 females (F) under 5, 1F 10-15, 2F 30-40 (one of whom is spouse, presumeably). One other Hollis household in Kent Co. is that of George D. Hollis, age 30-40, with spouse 20-30, two sons under 5, 1 son 5-10, and 1 dtr under 5.

Charles married Lavinia. (Lavinia was born in 1818.)
