Gravestone dob reads 1891 and 1900 census reads 1892. Joe was a trumpet player with the Tall Cedars Marching Band...Neal was middle name, according to Gloria Price Michaels, his daughter.
WWI Registration Card No. 85 [1917]: Joseph N. Price, 26, born Dec. 23, 1891, and living on Front St., Seaford, DE.; working as self-employed house painter. He claimed an exemption from the draft for reasons of supporting, wife, child and mother.
15 January 1916 Marriage Certificate (7:30 PM) for Joseph N. Price, 24, painter, and Goldy M. Thompson, 23 -- both native of DE. Virgil and Ruth Marvel were witnesses. Parents listed: W. H. Price (native of PA) and Anna Price (native of DE); Harvey Thompson (native of MD) and Martha Thompson (native of DE).

Joseph married Goldie Mae Thompson, daughter of Harvey Alexander Thompson and Martha, on Jan 15, 1916 in Seaford, Sussex, DE. (Goldie Mae Thompson was born in Mar 1894, died in 1947 and was buried in Seaford Odd Fellows Cmtry.). The cause of her death was cancer.
