John Price
General Notes:
John's connection to our Ann is based on census data. The connections are age, location (MD), and Juliane or Julia A. (although the ages noted on census forms are different). Needed is a specific link to John Thomas Price.
After 6 hours of reserch, the Baltimore County Historical Society library director has concluded that the following Price families (John and Samuel) provide no link to John Thomas Price or his mother Ann.

12-16-1820 Census for 2nd Dist. Balt. Co.: Samuel Price household included 3M under 10 and 1F 10-16, and others (age brackets for John T. and Mary Ann). Second District included Randallstown in its center.
Research Notes:
The name Price is of Welsh origin and derived from 'ap' meaning 'son of' and Rhys, which stems from the Welsh personal name 'Rhys' denoting 'hero or strong man.' ApRhys later became Price when the 'a' was dropped. Also in the Welsh language 'ab' means 'son of' and thus the surname Brice and Bryce have the same derivation as Price. A Thomas Price (b. 1610) arrived at St. Mary's City, MD, on 3-25-1634 aboard the Ark or the Dove. He could have been the originator of the Price line in America.
