General Notes: Henry Hayman was originally from Devon, England, and moved from Gloucester County, VA, to Somerset County, MD, around 1666. He received a patent for 200 acres of land in Somerset County, which he called "Second Choice."

Henry married Elinor Smith, daughter of John Smith and Elizabeth H. Cox. Elinor was born in 1640 in Somerset Co, MD and died on Aug 23, 1688 in Somerset Co, MD at age 48.
